HELP SUPPORT FIREFIGHTER TINAYA

“Our Red Watch community has always shown up for people when it matters most. Today, I’m asking if you’ll do that for someone who means the world to me.

Years ago, when I worked at Haines City Fire Department, I met someone who would become one of the closest friends I’ve ever had. His name is Nate.

I’ve met a lot of first responders throughout my career, and I can honestly say Nate is one of the greatest men I’ve ever known.

He’s the kind of person who always puts everyone else before himself. The kind of firefighter who never hesitates to answer the call. The kind of friend who somehow leaves every conversation making you feel like you can take on the world. He is the ultimate hype man, the first one to celebrate your wins, the first one to pick you up when you’re struggling, and someone whose entire purpose in life seems to be helping other people.

Now he’s the one who needs help.

Nate is battling Polycystic Kidney Disease, and his kidneys are failing. He needs a kidney transplant to survive. Thankfully, his incredible partner is a match and will be donating one of her kidneys. But while they’re both recovering, they’ll be facing enormous medical expenses, lost income, travel costs, and everything that comes with a life-changing surgery.

If Red Watch has ever brought you value, made you laugh, taught you something, or introduced you to the incredible people behind the badge and bunker gear, I’m asking you to help me support one of the very best people I’ve ever had the privilege of calling my friend.

Every donation helps. And if donating isn’t possible, sharing this page could help it reach someone who can.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Thank you for supporting one of the good ones. “
