Rolling Sixes (2025-Present)

Rolling Sixes takes viewers inside the only traditional firehouse of the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, a city where every officer is cross trained in law enforcement, firefighting, and medical first response. Filmed over the course of a year using cinematic Sony cameras and on the job GoPro footage, the six-part series offers an unfiltered look at life inside Station 6, where each crew faces the relentless rhythm of real emergencies and the emotional weight that follows.

From structure fires and technical rescues to late night calls that test endurance and heart, each two-episode arc focuses on a different crew, revealing their challenges, humor, and the family bond that keeps them grounded. Produced entirely within the department by Red Watch Productions founder Zach Hamelton in his role as the department’s Public Information Officer, Rolling Sixes captures public safety from a perspective only an insider could tell, raw, human, and unforgettable.
